Joining Berkshire Opera Festival as Assistant Conductor

Geoffrey Larson

It's my great pleasure to join the Berkshire Opera Festival staff as assistant conductor for the summer 2017 production of Ariadne auf Naxos. I will also be assisting with other festival events, such as a pre-production choral concert, "Gods and Monsters." This relatively new company is already earning rave reviews, and if you are in this part of the country, I invite you to join us for what promises to be a highly memorable production of Richard Strauss' great opera in Pittsfield, MA's beautiful Colonial Theatre.

Participant in Young Artists Festival in Prague

Geoffrey Larson

I have been selected to be one of two conductors to assist fully-staged opera productions, opera scenes, and orchestral performances in Tabor and Prague in June and July, participating in the Prague Summer Nights Young Artists Festival. I am excited to work with Sherrill Milnes and Maria Zouves, stage directors and vocal faculty, in addition to conductor John Nardolillo and guest artists from the Berlin Philharmonic and Czech Philharmonic.
